Meet Harper at Cereals 2010

Harper Adams is showcasing its training and research strengths at Cereals 2010 to promote the wide portfolio of research that the University College offers.
This now includes the ability to work with a network of employers and training providers through the REEDNet (Rural Employer Engagement Development Network) initiative.
BASIS and FACTS Training are all part of the package, which has also included specialist “Field to Fork ” Courses for Marks & Spencer’s, Graduate Development Programmes for the Fresh Produce Sectors via MDS Ltd, post Graduate study opportunities in sustainable agriculture, ongoing research into all aspects of agricultural sustainability as well as vital new areas like energy production on the farm.
A community of Post Graduate researchers continue to enhance the arable knowledge on offer, with projects exploring and investigating the latest technologies.
The REEDNet initiative has made inroads with its mission to “transform rural education” and more than 2000 individuals have benefited from training under the initiative last year, a figure which is growing this year and next.
